30. One Step At A Time

While on the pier at Venice Beach, my sweet friend and I were entertained by a somewhat aggressive snowy egret who fiercely defended his territory, laying claim to the railing, and making it abundantly clear the welcome mat was not out! He kept the other egrets at bay whenever one came close. His antics were quite amusing as he pranced along the weathered balustrade. Later that evening when I looked through my photos, these three were in succession and I immediately thought of “One Step at a Time”.
