52 Weeks of Life Seen Through My Eyes

Ida's Photo Theme Challenge

5. Butterflies And/Or Bees

When visiting a friend the other day, a set of colorful paintings she has hanging on the wall caught my eye and one of our challenge themes flashed through my mind. Without a second thought, I decided this was it. No macro lens or tripod was necessary to capture a live butterfly or bee, hoping it would remain still long enough to snap off a few photographs. There was no fluttering of wings with these bright, fun butterflies; they stayed perfectly and politely motionless.

  8. Aren’t you just so clever! Very pretty… I was hoping you would get a photo of a blue morpho fluttering along a Panama stream?! HA

  9. Thanks for mentioning snakes! Now I am totally turned off and will have to create a stream with the garden hose in the yard and hope the butterflies will be attracted to it.
